Challenge
Marie Selby Botanical Gardens sought an exhibition concept that meaningfully reflected its commitment to diversity and inclusion while expanding narratives around the Florida Highwaymen.
Solution
As a Smithsonian Leadership for Change intern, I developed a research-driven exhibition proposal centered on MaryAnn Carroll, integrating historical research, community engagement initiatives, spatial design concepts, and inclusive programming.
My Role
I led research, narrative development, and experience strategy, translating archival findings into a cohesive exhibition concept presented to Smithsonian and Selby Gardens stakeholders.
